Bad Nauheim District Court

The District Court of Bad Nauheim (1821 to 1867 Justice Office Nauheim ; 1867–1879 Regional Court (Bad) Nauheim ) was a Hessian court of ordinary jurisdiction from 1867 to 1968 with its seat in Bad Nauheim .

In the Electorate of Hesse , administration and justice were separated in 1821. The administrative tasks of the Dorheim Office were transferred to the Hanau district and the Dorheim Justice Office was set up for the jurisdiction of the first instance . In 1847 the Dorheim Justice Office was relocated to the Nauheim Justice Office .

As a result of the peace treaty of September 3, 1866 between the Grand Duchy of Hesse and the Kingdom of Prussia , the Grand Duchy received the former Kurhessische Amt Nauheim with the villages of Dorheim , Nauheim, Schwalheim and Rödgen . After a short interim phase in which the Friedberg Regional Court assumed the functions of the Nauheim Justice Office, the Grand Ducal Regional Court of Nauheim was established on January 20, 1867 , and its newly formed district also included Ober-Mörlen , Nieder-Mörlen and, which had previously been part of the Friedberg Regional Court district Wisselsheim included. May 1 of that year, then the integration of the previously found to District Court Butzbach proper place Steinfurth instead. For October 1, 1879 due to the was Judicature Act , the Regional Court dissolved, replaced by the District Court of Bad Nauheim and that the district of the District Court Giessen allocated.

On July 1, 1911, the Dorheim community was separated from the Bad Nauheim District Court district and assigned to the Friedberg District Court district. Finally, on July 1, 1968, the Bad Nauheim District Court was dissolved and its district court district was added to the Friedberg District Court.

Courthouse

The building of the former district court is located at Burgstrasse 26 and is a listed building. It is a three-storey solid building with a gable roof.
