Ulrichstein District Court

The Ulrichstein District Court (until 1879 Ulrichstein Regional Court ) was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1838 to 1943, as a branch until 1968, with its seat in Ulrichstein .

By order of the Grand Ducal Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Justice, a new district court in Ulrichstein was established on December 1, 1838, whose district consists of

On October 1, 1879, due to the Courts Constitution Act, it was renamed the Ulrichstein District Court and assigned to the district of the Gießen District Court .

The place Altenhain was separated on May 15, 1908 from the district of the Ulrichstein District Court and assigned to the district of the Laubach District Court . In 1943 the Ulrichstein District Court lost its independence and became a branch of the Schotten District Court . On July 1, 1968, this branch was also closed.
