District court Butzbach

The district court of Butzbach was a German district court of ordinary jurisdiction from 1879 to 2004 with its seat in Butzbach .

founding

The functional predecessor of the Butzbach District Court was the Butzbach District Court , a district court in the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

The German Courts Constitution Act of 1877 led to a uniform judicial organization throughout the empire . The Butzbach district court was therefore dissolved in 1879 and the Butzbach district court founded. The court had its seat in Solms Castle .

The judicial district included

Compared to the judicial district of the previous district court Butzbach, the district court district of Butzbach Holzheim and Ober-Hörgern won.

In 1934 seven local courts in the People's State of Hesse were dissolved, including the Lich district court . Eberstadt was reclassified from its district to the district of the Butzbach District Court.

On July 1, 1968, the places Eberstadt, Holzheim and Ober-Hörgern were given to the district court of Gießen.

On January 1, 2005, the district court was closed and its district integrated into that of the Friedberg district court .
