Cabinet Mintoff V
The Maltese Cabinet Mintoff V was formed on September 3, 1983 by Prime Minister Dom Mintoff of the Partit Laburista (PL). It replaced Mintoff's fourth cabinet and was in office until December 22, 1984.
After Mintoff's resignation on December 22, 1984, his designated successor, Carmelo "Karmenu" Mifsud Bonniċi, took over the position of Chairman of the PL and Prime Minister and then formed the Mifsud Bonniċi cabinet .
