The Lawrence Gonzi II cabinet was the incumbent government of the Republic of Malta from March 12, 2008 to March 11, 2013 .

After the general election in Malta in 2008 , Lawrence Gonzi was confirmed as Prime Minister and sworn in for the 11th legislative term. The new cabinet consisted of only eight ministers, four fewer than the Lawrence Gonzi I cabinet .

Cabinet reshuffles
- On February 10, 2010, former Parliamentary State Secretary for Health in the Ministry of Social Affairs, Joe Cassar, became Minister for Health, the Elderly and Community Care after John Dalli became the new Commissioner for Health of the EU . The office of Parliamentary State Secretary has not yet been filled.
- On January 6, 2012, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi took over the post of Minister of the Interior ( Minister for Home Affairs ) from Carmelo Mifsud Bonni ,i , while the previous Parliamentary State Secretary for Public Consultation and Information became Minister of Justice ( Minister for Justice, Dialogue and the Family ) to Prime Minister Chris Said. . In this context, there was also a further reshuffle of the cabinet in which the previous Parliamentary State Secretary for Tourism became Minister for Tourism, Culture and the Environment with Prime Minister Mario De Marco and thus from the previous Minister of Education and Culture Dolores Cristina took over the field of culture, while she is now Minister of Education and Employment . Furthermore, the previous Parliamentary State Secretary for Taxation with Finance Minister Jason Azzopardi became the new Minister for Fair Competition, Small Business, and Consumers .
- On November 28, 2012, Francis Zammit Dimech became the new Minister of Foreign Affairs after Tonio Borg became the new EU Health Commissioner. The post of Deputy Prime Minister, also held by Borg, has not yet been filled.
