The Lawrence Gonzi II cabinet was the incumbent government of the Republic of Malta from March 12, 2008 to March 11, 2013 .

After the general election in Malta in 2008 , Lawrence Gonzi was confirmed as Prime Minister and sworn in for the 11th legislative term. The new cabinet consisted of only eight ministers, four fewer than the Lawrence Gonzi I cabinet .

Cabinet reshuffles

  • On February 10, 2010, former Parliamentary State Secretary for Health in the Ministry of Social Affairs, Joe Cassar, became Minister for Health, the Elderly and Community Care after John Dalli became the new Commissioner for Health of the EU .
