The Vogel I cabinet was the Thuringian state government from 1992 to 1994 and was formed following the resignation of the previous Prime Minister Josef Duchač ( CDU ) on January 23, 1992.
Bernhard Vogel (CDU), former Prime Minister of Rhineland-Palatinate (1976-1988), was on 5 February 1992 by the Thuringian state parliament as the new Minister President of Thuringia elected and sat with the newly formed February 11, 1992 State Government , the coalition of the CDU and FDP away. From the day of the constituent session of the 2nd state parliament on November 10, 1994, the state government was in office and was replaced on November 30, 1994 by the Vogel II cabinet .
