society
Nakamura made his professional debut in 2003 in the ranks of Kawasaki Frontale , which was then deeply stuck in the Japanese second division. In the following season, the defensive midfielder made it to the top division with a completely new frontal, where the club can still be found today. In the successful qualification for the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa , he scored two goals in eight games. He was also appointed to the Japanese squad for the finals . However, in the spring of 2010 he was out for a long time due to a broken jaw. Until the World Cup, he was no longer in shape in time and was not used in the preliminary round. He was substituted on for the first time in the round of 16 against Paraguay. The game ended 0-0 and Japan were eliminated on penalties.
Style of play
The playmaker is excellent at reading the game and is distinguished by his intelligence. With his ability to play long balls and short passes through the air, he gives the Japanese attack additional impetus.
