Kevin David McDonald (born November 4, 1988 in Carnoustie ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with the English first division club Fulham . He has been a Scottish international since 2018 .
Career
society
Kevin McDonald was born in 1988 in Carnoustie, a small town on the east coast of Scotland. In 2005, McDonald moved to the U-17 team at Dundee FC . For the club he played from 2005 for three years in the professional team that competed in the second division . In June 2008, the 19-year-old McDonald moved to the English second division club Burnley FC for half a million pounds . In the first season he rose with Burnley through wins in the play-off games against Reading FC and Sheffield United in the Premier League . After he was still used regularly in the first division season 2009/10 , he remained without league use in the following season . From October 2010 to January 2011 he was awarded to the second division club Scunthorpe United . From February 2011 he was on loan for the third division club Notts County . From August 2011 he was then under contract with Sheffield United after his contract in Burnley was not renewed. Within the third division, he moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2013, with whom he was promoted to the second division in 2014. With the next station FC Fulham McDonald rose again. The second promotion to the Premier League was achieved in 2018.
National team
Kevin McDonald played once in 2006 in the Scottish U-19 against Germany in Falkirk . Between 2007 and 2010 he was used 14 times in the U-21 and scored two goals. On March 23, 2018, he made his debut for the senior team under Alex McLeish against Costa Rica .
