history
After a settlement called Quorn (named after a place in Leicestershire ) already existed a little west of today's Kingsley, a train station for the Chicago and North Western Transportation Company was established with the construction of a railway line on the site of today's city . A settlement was planned there in 1883. After the so entrusted Nahum Kingsley , the newly emerging town was called Kingsley .
