The Neustadt-Wunstorf church district is a church district in the northwest of the Hanover region . He belongs to the Ev.-luth. Regional Church of Hanover . The church district was created as part of the church district reform by merging the Neustadt and Wunstorf church districts in 2001. Pastor Michael Hagen has been the superintendent of the church district since 2002.

The church district includes the area of ​​the cities of Neustadt am Rübenberge (all of) and Wunstorf (for the most part), as well as individual places in surrounding cities. The area of ​​today's church district largely corresponds to the area of the Neustadt am Rübenberge district, which was dissolved in 1974 .
