Kleinweingarten is a district of the Markt Pleinfeld in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The village has about 50 inhabitants and is located at an altitude of around 460 meters above  sea ​​level .

The place is west of Pleinfeld, east of Kemnathen and southeast of Mischelbach . The Arbach flows to the south . It's about five kilometers to the Großer Brombachsee and about three kilometers to Pleinfeld. The district road WUG 16 connects the place with the federal road 2, which runs just under a kilometer to the west .

Until the municipal reform on July 1, 1972, Kleinweingarten was part of the former municipality of Mischelbach.
