Banzermühle is a part of the market Pleinfeld in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

The wasteland is in the Franconian Lake District , 1.5 kilometers southwest of Pleinfeld on the edge of the forest. The Banzerbach touches the mill in the north and flows east of Pleinfeld into the Swabian Rezat . A cul-de-sac leads to State Road 2222, which runs to St. Veit . The Treuchtlingen – Nuremberg railway line runs almost 500 meters to the east, separated by a forest, and the Gunzenhausen – Pleinfeld railway line (Seenland Railway) to the north .

Before the municipal reform, a district of St. Veit, Banzermühle was incorporated into Pleinfeld on January 1, 1972 together with its main town.

A small path chapel from the 18th century exists as a monument .

Ecclesiastically the place to hear the evangelical church of St. Peter in Pleinfeld in the Evangelical Lutheran deanery White Castle and the Catholic parish of St. Vitus in St. Veit in the deanery Weißenburg-Wemding in the diocese of Eichstaett .
