Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry

The Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry is a member of the European Commission . The industry department has existed since the Rey Commission took office in 1967, although the exact responsibilities have changed in some cases. Since the Prodi Commission in 1999 it has been called Enterprise and Industry .

Elżbieta Bieńkowska has been the incumbent in the Juncker Commission since November 1, 2014 .
