The 1980/81 season was the 10th season of the Korać Cup held by FIBA Europe .

Joventut de Badalona from Spain won the title .

mode

27 teams from 11 nations took part. After the qualifying round, 22 teams played an elimination round. The winners of these games qualified for the group stage, which consisted of four groups of four teams each. The first in each group reached the semi-finals, followed by the final. The winners of the pairings in round 1 and in the semi-finals were determined in the first and second leg. The final was played in one game at a neutral location.
