Kristina Inhof (born October 1, 1988 in Vienna ) is an Austrian television presenter and sports journalist for ORF .

Career

Inhof was born in Vienna and grew up in Lower Austria . During her school days she played handball for several years at Hypo Niederösterreich . In 2008 she completed her Matura at the Vienna Business School . Shortly thereafter, she began studying sports science with a focus on sports management at the University of Vienna . During this time she also lived in Gran Canaria for 6 months and did a semester abroad at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). During her studies, she already completed various internships at media companies such as Radio 88.6 , the Kronenzeitung and Austria 9 . Inhof finished her studies with a bachelor's degree in October 2012 . She is also a graduate of the WIFI media academy .

Career

In 2009, Inhof stood in front of a camera for the first time. She worked as a reporter for Vienna Online for almost two years. Then she switched to W24 , where she initially presented Guten Morgen Wien and from 2012 she was the face of the daily live broadcast Guten Abend Wien . In addition to her work at W24, she hired the Austria-wide TV broadcaster PULS 4 to broadcast the UEFA Champions League in 2012 . She moderated this together with Christian Nehiba and Frenk Schinkels .

At W24, Inhof also took on the real estate format for Vienna , the main evening show Best of and the moderation of the station's program presentations.

In 2015, she joined the team of moderators at Sky Sport News HD for several months and presented the sports news there several times a week. At the same time, Inhof moderated together with Andi Knoll The Great Chance of Choirs on ORF eins .

Inhof has been working exclusively for ORF since 2016, where he moderates for the soccer department, which includes broadcasts from the Champions League, Bundesliga , 2nd league , ÖFB Cup and summaries of games by the Austrian national soccer team . She was also part of the ORF team at the 2016 European Football Championship in France . In 2016 she again presented Die Große Chance der Chöre with Andi Knoll . In 2017, Inhof announced Austria's points at the final of the Eurovision Song Contest , replacing Kati Bellowitsch as the points spokesperson. As part of the 2018 World Cup , she and Christian Diendorfer presented the World Cup Club on ORF eins. Since 2018, Inhof has moderated the format Alles Opernball around the Vienna Opera Ball every year . In autumn 2020, she is to moderate the dance show Dancing Stars as a replacement for Mirjam Weichselbraun .

In addition to her television appearances, Kristina Inhof works as an event host. In 2013 and 2014 she hosted the final of the EHF Champions League in the Lanxess Arena . Apart from the sporting area, she also leads through galas and company events.

Inhof lives in Lower Austria . She speaks German and English fluently, as well as good Spanish .
