Kristoffer Arvhage (born November 3, 1977 in Sandhult ) is a Swedish football player . The defender and midfielder , who won the Swedish National Cup twice with IF Elfsborg , has played his career in Sweden and Denmark so far.
Career
Career start at IF Elfsborg and title wins
Arvhage started playing football at Sandareds IF . In 1993 he moved to the youth department at IF Elfsborg . As a 17-year-old, he played for the first time in 1995 in the then second-class men's team. After promotion to the Allsvenskan , he established himself on the club's defense in the late 1990s and ran several times in the Swedish U-21 selection . In 2001 he moved into the final of the national cup with the team at the side of Anders Svensson , Johan Wiland , Niklas Gudmundsson and Fredrik Berglund . Against AIK , the decision was made after a 1-1 draw with goals from Andreas Klarström and Nebojša Novaković on penalties . After three players per team had previously missed - Arvhage was one of the successful shooters - a penalty missed by Sharbel Touma resulted in the decision in favor of Arvhage's team.
While Arvhage in the championship under coach Anders Grönhagen was still regular in the defensive row, he was characterized in the 2003 season by increased goal risk and scored three goals this season. If the club had finished tenth in the table at the end of the season, they reached the final of the national cup again. Against the second division Assyriska Föreningen Lars Nilsson shot the club with a brace to win the second title in the competition.
Flying visit to Denmark and between first and second division in Sweden
Shortly before the end of the summer transfer period in August 2004, Arvhage left after 145 games in the Allsvenskan on loan from Sweden and joined the Danish club Aalborg BK , which agreed a purchase option, until the end of the season . At the side of Allan Kierstein Jepsen , Rasmus Würtz , Martin Ericsson and Trond Andersen , he played in the super league until December .
In December of that year Arvhage returned to Sweden. He joined the first division relegated AIK trained by Rikard Norling . At the side of Daniel Tjernström , Daniel Örlund , Nicklas Carlsson and Mats Rubarth , he was involved in the recovery in 24 second division games. Nevertheless, he turned his back on the club at the end of the season and moved to IFK Norrköping within the Superettan .
At his new club, Arvhage was a regular straight away. At the end of the second division season in 2007 he won the second division championship with the team with eight points ahead of Ljungskile SK and rose to the Allsvenskan. During the season he had extended his contract by three years. The team around Daniel Bamberg , Mikael Blomberg , Richard Spong and Thomas Magnusson , however, had no chance in the elite series and, after four victories of the season, were relegated directly from bottom of the table. In the second division he remained loyal to the club, even if he had to step down in the second division season 2010 due to injury. At the end of the season, in which he helped rise again in 18 second division games alongside Shpetim Hasani , Viktor Rönneklev and Marcus Falk-Olander , he left the club to return to Borås .
