Krzekoszewo (German Louisenhof , also: Luisenhof ) is a small place in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the rural community (Gmina) Malechowo in the district of Sławno ( Schlawe ).

Geographical location

Krzekoszewo is located on a connecting road between Kusice ( Kuhtz ) and Bartolino ( Bartlin ) in the valley of the Bielawa ( Mühlenbach ). From the state road 6 between Koszalin ( Köslin ) and Sławno ( Schlawe ) the village can be reached via Niemica ( Nemitz ) and Kusice. The nearest train station is Wiekowo ( Alt Wieck ), ten kilometers away on the Stargard Szczeciński – Gdańsk railway line .

history

Louisenhof was until 1945 the Vorwerk of the von Schlieffenschen Gutsverwaltung in Kuhtz (today Polish: Kusice) and was - although belonging to the municipality Nemitz (Niemica) - 1200 meters east of the village Kuhtz.

The Vorwerk was laid out by Johann Adolph Heinrich von Schlieffen in the 18th century and named after his wife Louise, nee von Glasenapp . The last owner was Jutta von Schlieffen nee von Zitzewitz , the widow of Hans Nikolaus von Schlieffen , who died in 1932 . Louisenhof was leased to the estate administration in Kuhtz. Before 1945 its area was: 194 hectares of arable land, 43 hectares of grassland, 107 hectares of forest and 5 hectares of other.

Louisenhof belonged to the district of Soltikow (Sulechowo) in the district of Schlawe i. Pom. in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania . Even in a civil ceremony , the place was connected to Soltikow.

Today, the Polish Krzekoszewo is part of the Gmina Malechowo ( Malchow ) in the Powiat Sławieński of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship (until 1998 Köslin Voivodeship ).

The invariably Protestant Louisenhof belonged to the parish of Nemitz (Niemica) until 1945 . The center of worship was the Nemitz village church . The parish was in the parish of Rügenwalde (Darłowo) in the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today the inhabitants of Krzekoszewo are predominantly Catholic . The Protestant church members are looked after by the Koszalin ( Köslin ) parish in the Pomeranian-Greater Poland diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg (= Lutheran) Church in Poland .
