Darskowo (German name Limbrechtshof ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina (rural community) Malechowo ( Malchow ) in the Sławno ( Schlawe ) district.

Geographical location

Darskowo is 14 kilometers southwest of the district town of Sławno ( Schlawe ) and can be reached via Lejkowo ( Leikow ) on the road Sławno - Laski ( Latzig ) - Jacinki ( Jatzingen ) - Polanów ( Pollnow ). Until 1945 there was a connection to the Schlawe - Pollnow small railway line of the Schlawer Bahnen through the Leikow station .

history

The Limbrechtshof estate was managed as a preliminary work for the Klein Soltikow estate (now in Polish: Sulechówko) until 1934 . Then it came to the Pomeranian Landgesellschaft, which created 13 settler positions there on January 1, 1936, covering 15 hectares .

Before 1945 Limbrechtshof was a part of the municipality Leikow (Lejkowo) and belonged to the administrative district Soltikow (Sulechowo). The registry office was also in Soltikow, while the responsible district court was in Schlawe . The small estate was thus in the district of Schlawe i. Pom. in the administrative district of Köslin .

After the Second World War , the place came to Poland and was called Darskowo part of Gmina Malechowo in the Powiat Sławieński of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship ( Köslin Voivodeship until 1998 ).

Limbrechtshof belonged to 1945 to Lutheran congregation small Soltikow (Sulechówko) in Parish Nemitz (Niemica). It was in the parish of Rügenwalde (Darłowo) of the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today the place is part of the Catholic Parafia Sulechówko in the diocese of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg . The Protestant residents are looked after by the parish office in Koszalin ( Köslin ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church .

The place did not have its own school. Before 1945 the children from Limbrechtshof attended the village school in Leikow.
