Lars Lambrecht
Lars Lambrecht (born February 24, 1944 in Hamburg ) is a German sociologist and until 2009 was Professor of Sociology in the Faculty of Social Economics at the University of Hamburg .
Life
High School in 1964 at the Hamburg grammar school Christianeum and then study of philosophy , history and political science , sociology in Basel and Marburg / Lahn from 1965 to 1970. 1970 first state examination for teaching at secondary schools in the subjects of history , political science and philosophy. Since 1971 teaching of political history and sociology as well as social philosophy at the Hamburg University of Economics and Politics (HWP). 1982 doctorate at the University of Bremen . Dissertation : "Intellectual subjectivity and social history. Fundamentals of a research project on biographies and case studies on F. Nietzsche and F. Mehring ", Frankfurt / M. / Bern / New York 1985. 1992 Habilitation at the University of Bremen in philosophy: " Junghegelianism . Zur The Young Hegelians' discussion of the history of philosophy and its reception of Fichte's philosophy and the French Revolution ", Bremen [masch.schriftl. Habilitation thesis]. 1993 private lecturer for philosophy at the University of Bremen. Since 1995 professor for social theory , social philosophy and political sociology at the HWP. Since 1998 chairman of the doctoral committee at the HWP. Since 2003 teaching at the German department " Cultures of Knowledge , Transculturality , Human Rights " of the European UNESCO Chair ( Paris ) at the University of Bremen , headed by HJ Sandkühler . Since 2006 director of the Center for Economic and Sociological Studies (ZÖSS) and program manager for the Master’s degree in Economic and Sociological Studies, University of Hamburg - Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Department of Social Economics at University of Hamburg.
Main focus in research and teaching: democracy research , history of ideas and politics in the 19th century, biography of Karl Nauwerck ; philosophy of history , philosophy of the world, world politics .
