The Lebanon Township is one of 22 townships in St. Clair County in the west of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois . In 2010 Lebanon Township had 4,538 inhabitants.

The township is located in the eastern part of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan region, called Metro-East , around the city of St. Louis in neighboring Missouri .

The Lebanon Township is located in the eastern suburbs of St. Louis. The Mississippi , which forms the border with the state of Missouri, is around 40 km to the west.

The Lebanon Township is located in the extreme northeast of St. Clair County and borders the Madison to the north and Clinton County to the east .
