The Caseyville Township is one of 22 townships in St. Clair County in the west of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois . In 2010 Caseyville Township had 31,996 residents.
The township is located in the eastern part of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan region, called Metro-East , around the city of St. Louis in neighboring Missouri .

The township is located in the eastern suburbs of St. Louis. The Mississippi , which forms the border with the state of Missouri, is around 20 km west of the township.

The township is north of St. Clair County and borders Madison County to the north . Within St. Clair County, Caseyville Township borders on O'Fallon Township in the east, Shiloh Valley Township in the southeast, St. Clair Township in the south, Belleville in the southwest and Canteen Township in the west .

Illinois State Route 159 runs through the center of the township in a north-south direction . Illinois State Route 157 runs through the northwest of the township . All other roads are county roads or further subordinate partially unpaved roads.
A CSX Transportation railroad runs through Caseyville Township and runs east from St. Louis.
The St. Louis Downtown Airport is about 20 km southwest, the larger Lambert-Saint Louis International Airport is about 45 km west-northwest of Caseyville Township.
