Lehenbrunn is a village in the cadastral municipality of Pergkirchen in the municipality of Perg .
geography
Limits
Lehenbrunn is located in the northeast of the municipality of Perg or in the north of the cadastral municipality of Pergkirchen and extends south of the border with the municipality of Windhaag bei Perg and the cadastral municipality of Altenburg (cross-municipal settlements in Karlingberg, Pasching and Forndorf and Pragtal ) from the village of Karlingberg in the west to to the village of Altenburg in the east. In the south, Lehenbrunn is bordered by the villages of Thurnhof , Pergkirchen and Dörfl.
structure
Lehenbrunn historically consists on the one hand of scattered houses and the closed settlement Mitterberg and on the other hand parts of the settlement areas Pasching and Forndorf , which also extend to the area of the cadastral community Altenburg (community Windhaag) in the community Windhaag near Perg . 151 and 156 inhabitants respectively live in the part of the settlement on Perg (census 2001 and 2011 respectively without Mitterberg ).
location
From a geological and geomorphological point of view as well as aspects of the use of space, Lehenbrunn largely belongs to the Upper Austrian spatial unit southern Mühlviertel's peripheral locations . A small part on the border with Windhaag belongs to the Upper Austrian spatial unit Aist-Naarn-Kuppenland .
In the northeastern area of the village is with the Preschnitzer-Höhe (Preschmitzer-Höhe) at 415 m above sea level. A. the highest elevation in the cadastral municipality of Pergkirchen or the municipality of Perg.
Waters
In Lehenbrunn, the Thurnhofbach and the Auhofbach have their source, both of which drain into the Naarn via the Kleiner Naarnkanal . An unnamed stream that flows from Pasching east of the Poschacher settlement forms the tributary of the Seyr ponds.
traffic
The state road L 1423 runs through Lehenbrunn, which forms the connection to Donau Strasse (B 3) via the Münzbacher slip road (Münzbacher Strasse) .
history
In the southwest of Lehenbrunn there is the Mitterberg castle ruin , which was built by the Lords of Perg in the 12th century and where the Machland district court was located until the end of the 15th century . A manor in Pasching (today the Pasching part of the village ) was mentioned as early as 1111 in connection with the Pergkirchen parish church . The names of the farms in Lehenbrunn have both Baier and Slavic roots.
