Lehri District

Lehri District was an administrative district in Pakistan in Balochistan Province . The seat of the district administration was the city of Bakhtiarabad .

The district had 118,046 inhabitants according to the 2017 census.

history

The district was created in 2013 from parts of Sibi and Kachhi . In 2018 it was decided to dissolve the district and integrate it into Sibi.

Demographics

Between 1998 and 2017, the population grew by 1.52% annually. Around 14% of the population live in urban areas and around 86% in rural areas. 61,495 men, 56,549 women and 2 transgender people live in 18,651 households, which results in a gender ratio of 108.8 men per 100 women and thus a common surplus of men for Pakistan.
