The women's 100-meter race at the 2013 World Athletics Championships took place on August 11 and 12, 2013 in Moscow , Russia .

45 athletes from 32 countries took part in the competition. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won the gold medal after 10.71 s, silver went to Murielle Ahouré with 10.93 s and the bronze medal went to Carmelita Jeter with 10.94 s.
