Sheri-Ann Brooks (born February 11, 1983 in Kingston ) is a Jamaican sprinter .

She won the gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, both over 100 meters and in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 2007 she also secured the gold medal with the relay at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro . Over 200 meters , she took second place. In the same year she won the silver medal together with Kerron Stewart , Simone Facey and Veronica Campbell-Brown at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka as the starting runner in the 4 x 100 meter relay . There she started in the 100-meter run, but retired with a time of 11.21 s in the semi-final round.

At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , she ran in the 4 x 100 meter relay of Jamaica, which qualified in 42.24 s as the fastest team in the preliminary round for the final. Brooks was not used in the final, the Jamaican season was eliminated due to a substitution error.

In 2009 Brooks was tested positive for the banned stimulant methylxanthine in the A-sample at the Jamaican championships and was then removed from the list for the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin by the Jamaican Association . Due to a formal error when opening the B sample, however, she had to be acquitted and her right to start at the World Championships was returned.

Sheri-Ann Brooks is 1.68 m tall and has a competition weight of 55 kg.
