Marshevet Myers (born Hooker ; born September 25, 1984 in Dallas ) is an American sprinter .

As a student at the University of Texas , she was 2005 NCAA -Meisterin about 100 meters and 2006 NCAA indoor champion in the long jump and 60 meters .

In 2008 she qualified third in the US eliminations over 200 meters for the Olympic Games in Beijing , where she was fifth. At the World Athletics Finals she came second over 100 and 200 meters.

At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin , she was eliminated over 200 meters in the semi-finals. As the US runner-up over 100 meters, she traveled to the World Championships in Daegu in 2011 and was eighth over this distance. In the 4 x 100 meter relay , she won gold with the US team.

Marshevet Myers is 1.75 m tall and weighs 67 kg. She is trained by Jon Drummond . Her sister Destinee Hooker is an American national volleyball player .
