Savatheda Fynes

Savatheda Fynes (also Sevatheda Fynes ; born October 17, 1974 ) is a Bahamian sprinter and Olympic champion .

At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, she won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay race along with her teammates Eldece Clarke , Chandra Sturrup and Pauline Davis-Thompson . At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, she improved her previous result and won the gold medal in the same competition together with Chandra Sturrup, Pauline Davis-Thompson and Debbie Ferguson

She was also successful at world championships. In 1997 she won the bronze medal in the 100 meters and in 1999 she became world champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay of the Bahamas together with her colleagues Chandra Sturrup, Pauline Davis-Thompson and Debbie Ferguson.
