Carla Bodendorf (* 13 August 1953 as Carla Rietig in Eilsleben ) is a former East German -Leichtathletin that at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal the gold medal in the 4 x 100-meter relay won (42.55 s, together Marlies Oelsner (Göhr) , Renate Stecher and Bärbel Wöckel ). At the same Olympics, she was fourth in the 200-meter run . She was also involved in the relay victory of the GDR at the European Cup finals in 1975.

Her only individual success at an international highlight was the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1978 in the 200-meter run (22.98 s). There she won another bronze medal with the 4 x 100 meter relay (43.07 s, together with Johanna Klier , Monika Hamann and Marlies Göhr).

Bodendorf studied sports science and became a sports teacher at a vocational school in Magdeburg. After the end of the GDR she worked in the Ministry of the Interior of Saxony-Anhalt . Bodendorf started for SC Magdeburg and trained with Klaus Wübbenhorst . In her active days she was 1.64 m tall and weighed 58 kg.
