Catherine Hardy (born February 8, 1930 in Carrollton , Georgia - † September 8, 2017 in Atlanta , GA) was an American athlete and Olympic champion .

At the XV. At the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki she won the relay gold medal together with her teammates Mae Faggs , Barbara Jones and Janet Moreau , ahead of the team from Germany (silver) and the team from Great Britain (bronze). The USA team also set a new world record in this discipline with 45.9 seconds.
