Harriet Bland

Harriet Bland ( Harriet Claiborne Bland ; born February 13, 1915 in St. Louis , Missouri , † November 6, 1991 in Fort Worth , Texas ) was an American sprinter and Olympic champion .

At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin she won the team gold medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay together with her teammates Annette Rogers , Betty Robinson and Helen Stephens in front of the teams from the United Kingdom and Canada .
