Libmanan is a Filipino municipality. It is located in the southeastern part of the island of Luzon in the Bicol region in the Camarines Sur province about 255 km southeast of Manila and about 35 km from the city of Naga . The municipality is located on the coast of the Gulf of Ragay .
It borders the municipality of Cabusao to the northeast, parts of the municipalities of Pamplona and Canaman to the southeast , the municipality of Sipocot to the northwest , and the municipality of Pasacao to the southwest . It is Bikolano , Filipino / Tagalog and English spoken.
A large part of the population lives from rice cultivation, but sugar cane and maize are also grown.
Libmanan is the seat of the Diocese of Libmanan . There is a regular rail link between Manila and Libmanan, operated by the Philippine National Railways . The Libmanan Caves National Park was established to protect the numerous cave systems in the community.
