Libuše Průšová (born July 13, 1979 in Valašské Meziříčí , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech tennis player .

Career

Průšová preferred to play on clay courts.

She won nine singles and six doubles titles in the ITF Women's Circuit during her career . On the WTA Tour she reached a double final with the Idea Prokom Open 2003 , which she lost at the side of Maret Ani against Tetjana Perebyjnis / Silvija Talaja with 4: 6 and 2: 6.

A career highlight was the semi-finals in doubles at the Australian Open 2004 with Maret Ani. There they lost against Svetlana Kuznetsova / Jelena Lichowzewa with 2: 6 and 4: 6.

For her country of birth, she took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens in doubles , with Barbora Strýcová as doubles partner. They lost their first round game 2: 6, 6: 3 and 1: 6 against the Russian team Svetlana Kuznetsova / Jelena Lichowzewa.
