Liesek ( Hungarian : Ljeszek , Polish : Lesk ) is a municipality in northern Slovakia .

It is located in the Oravská kotlina on the Oravica , between the town of Trstená (5 km) and the Polish border (9 km by road).
history
The place was first mentioned in 1558, it was founded by Thurzos .
The eastern municipality of Čimhová was part of the municipality from 1980 to 1990.
