more pictures	City Church "To the Holy Spirit"	Nidda, Pfarrgasse 1 location	The Protestant town church of the Holy Spirit was built between 1615 and 1618. It is the oldest hall church in Upper Hesse. 1616–1618 built on a piece of land donated by Landgrave Ludwig by the “princely master builder and master craftsman”, probably Jakob Wustmann. Broad hall building with southern choir tower and side stair towers, steep pitched roof, high windows on the facade spanning both floors
		Nidda, Raun 1 location	Former town inn "Zum Goldenen Stern", built in 1632. Large, two-storey half-timbered house, consisting of two components, with a strong impact on the square. The right, larger part with a large round arched portal framed by a carnation, above it two storeys with rich corner struts and fire braces in the parapets. Gable translated several times with nested fire rests. The left component, also at the gable end, spans the courtyard passage through an elegant gate structure supported by polygonal columns with double donkey backs: there date “1632 HEINRICH OTTERBEIN DER MEISTER WAR”, above it a similar framework as on the neighboring building. Within the Upper Hessian half-timbered history, one of the important, art-historically valuable buildings by Meiser Otterbein from Langd in excellent preservation with a rich half-timbered configuration. Cultural monument because of its artistic, historical and urban significance. (From 1938 residential building and from 1970 as town hall of the city of Nidda. Since 1984 local history museum.)

	War memorial	Nidda
		Nidda, Schillerstraße 14 location	Wilhelminian style residential building with two floors, in the axis of Mühlstrasse. Gable accentuated, there date 1902. Coupled windows, central projection, bosses at the corners, entrance off the axis to the right. Simple construction, still in the formal language of the early days. Cultural monument because of its urban significance and also because of its local historical value as the best preserved residential building of this time.
