  • The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).

Detailed memorial texts

  1. ^ Protestant parish church Struppen. Hall church with choir tower and southern porch. The church, 2nd half of the 13th century, the porch around 1600, the choir tower increased in 1695. Renovation of the interior in 1736. Restoration since 1978.
    The exterior was given by the porch with semi-circular stair tower to reign room upstairs and through the volute a face side, which includes the wide round-arched portal of the 13th century.. Small gate from the 13th century at the choir. The octagonal upper floor of the choir tower with a curved dome, lantern and onion. The nave has a high gable roof with a stepped gable. The retracted, square choir in timid early Gothic forms, with ribbed vaults on consoles and hanging keystone, in the east wall a small pointed arch window. The triumphal arch is slightly stilted and rounded. The ceiling in the hall is structured by fine stucco moldings.     The equipment simple. Pulpit neo-renaissance , neo-classical font, organ from 1746. - Epitaphs : that for Pastor Alardus († 1689) rather simple, with cartilage, more elaborate that for Major General von Bolberitz († 1769) (Dehio Sachsen I, 1996). Structural assets:

    Access: Entrances: two entrances from the south and east, each with a two-leaf decorative grille and gate post,

    Vegetation: Individual trees: characteristic copper beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Atropurpurea') south of the church,
    Other protected assets: Soil relief: the terrain falls from north to south, is terraced by small sandstone walls.
  2. Small troops manor - description of the former manor park (no garden monument) - structural assets:
    Buildings: castle, school building, manor as a three-wing complex. Enclosure: sandstone wall in the east, in the north in the courtyard entrance fence posts made of sandstone with fence panels made of wood.
    Access: Entrances: from the south-east ramp with sandstone pavement and two gate pillars with spherical top made of sandstone, path system: available, partly covered with sandstone slabs.
    Vegetation: isolated old trees, consisting of sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus), horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), sweet chestnuts (Castanea sativa) in the northwest corner of the area, copper beeches (Fagus sylvatica, Atropurpurea '), beeches (Tilia spec. Sylindevatica) ).
    Other protected assets: Soil relief: terrain falls from north to south. View: to the church to the south and the village.
  3. Rittergut Thürmsdorf - Gutspark:
    Landscaped park on sloping terrain with sandstone cliffs (probably used earlier for stone quarrying), mixed oak and beech trees with a few chestnuts and linden trees. In the immediate vicinity of the manor house, numerous evergreen rhododendrons, Rhododendron luteum, Thuja spec., Forsythia spec. Stones placed on edge intercept the terrain. Structural assets:
    Buildings: mansion, lounges (no monument).
    Access: Entrances: from the south into the estate with two goal posts, from the north via stairs, path system: legible, landscaped, garden equipment: open staircase in the garden with reference to the tower (Löwe 2012 no longer exists, was still there in 2010), bastion made of sandstone , another bastion at the manor house, the area partly intercepted by small walls. Water elements: small brook valley integrated into the design.
    Vegetation: avenues and rows of trees: row of linden trees (Tilia spec.) At the former hippodrome, row of oaks along a path in the eastern part of the park, formerly cut linden tree avenue behind the lounge halls. Individual trees: dendrologically rich old trees, u. a. Fan-leaf maple (Acer palmatum) in the courtyard of the manor house, pinetum with numerous conifers of different species, copper beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Atropurpurea') in the eastern part of the garden, pedunculate oak (Quercus robur), horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), red beech (Fagus sylvatica).
    Hedges and shrubs: various rhododendrons and azaleas as well as numerous ornamental shrubs in the area south of the manor house.
    Perennials: Wood anemone (Anemone nemorosa), various ferns, Solomon's seal (Polygonatum odoratum), lark spur (Corydalis cava), wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca).
    Other protected assets: Soil relief: terrain falls from south to north, topography is very turbulent, rocks are integrated into the design, view: into the lower-lying village, as well as the surrounding area to the north, view from the oak bastion overgrown.
  4. ^ Robert-Sterl-Haus - structural protected assets: Building: residential building.
    Enclosure: sandstone posts with wooden fields (except on the western border of parcel 103). Access: Entrances: Main entrance from the south, sandstone posts with two-winged wooden gate, secondary entrance from the north, path system: in the area close to the house, water-bound path surface with quarry stone edging, sandstone stairs, in the slope area partly overgrown gravel path in serpentines.     Vegetation: Individual trees: two dominant old trees in the area close to the house until renovation: Linden (Tilia spec.), European beech (Fagus sylvatica) of which stumps are still present, in the slope area a loose mixed stand of pedunculate oak (Quercus robur), linden (Tilia spec.), European beech (Fagus sylvatica).
    Hedges and shrubs: in the area close to the house, numerous rhododendrons of different species and varieties as well as various ornamental shrubs, in the slope area extensive occurrence of snowberries (Symphoricarpos orbiculatus). Perennials: in the area close to the house, perennial planting, in the slope area extensive occurrence of lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis).
    Other protected assets: Ground relief: terrain slopes sharply to the north from the house, terrain in the area near the house is terraced over small sandstone walls, view: to Wehlen and the Elbe.
  5. Rittergut Thürmsdorf - garden monument: The gardens in Thürmsdorf can be divided into three parts:
    • Part 1 - regularly designed garden area - structural assets:
      • Building: mansion. Path system: existing, water-bound ceiling, border with historical concrete edges, straight, two-course, semicircular staircase made of sandstone, at the top end with decorative metal grille, at the southern end two small semicircular bastions with decorative grille.
      • Garden equipment: two sculptures: bronze sculpture by Stephan Sindino: a man kneeling in front of a seated woman, and putti made of sandstone carrying a bowl. Water elements: round sandstone water basin on the central terrace.
      • Vegetation: hedges and shrubs: numerous ornamental shrubs, especially rhododendrons in species and varieties, laburnum (Laburnum anagyroides), lilacs (Syringa vulgaris).
      • Other protected assets: Soil relief: terracing of the area with sandstone walls. Visual relationship: from the eastern viewing terrace view of Königstein Fortress, from the western part especially the manor house as a reference point.
    • Part 2 - landscaped part of the garden - structural assets:
      • Building: mansion. Path system: present, curved landscape. Garden equipment: sandstone bridge in the north of the complex, wooden stairs (new) in the western part of the garden. Water elements: near-natural pond in the western part, stream integrated into the design.
      • Vegetation: avenues and rows of trees: hazel tree avenue (Corylus colurna) as a north-eastern border, individual trees: dendrologically rich old trees, u. a. Consists of silver maple (Acer saccharinum), sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus), common beech (Fagus sylvatica), copper beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Atropurpurea'), linden (Tilia spec.), English oak (Quercus robur), column oak (Quercus robur 'Fastigiata') '), Tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera), pseudoacacia (Robinia pseudoacacia), field maple (Acer campestre), horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), red oak (Quercus rubra), hornbeam (Carpinus betulus), yew (Taxus baccata), hemlock canadensis), black pine (Pinus nigra), hedges and shrubs: numerous ornamental shrubs, v. a.       • Other protected assets: Soil relief: turbulent topography, stream valley running from north to southwest. Visual relationship: different visual relationships within the system.
    • Part 3 - Area around the mausoleum with access path:
      • Structural assets: Building: Mausoleum for the von Biedermann family, built in 1920/21, path system: available.
      • Vegetation: Individual trees: mixed deciduous and coniferous trees, access to the mausoleum with pines (Pinus spec., Species with elongated cones) existed, capital linden (Tilia spec.) South of the mausoleum, other population mainly of pedunculate oaks (Quercus robur) and European beech (Fagus sylvatica). Hedges and bushes: extensive stands of snowberries (Symphoricarpos orbiculatus) along the way.
      • Other protected assets: View: from the mausoleum view to Königstein Fortress.
