The prehistoric hilltop settlement on the Kulm with ramparts dates from the first millennium BC. The hillside settlement extends over the communities of Stubenberg and Puch .

Note: As a reaction to the protection of the property and the resulting liability as well as devaluation in accordance with the DSG, the landowner banned all visitors from entering the property from 2010 (extensive fencing, threats of property damage lawsuits). Since 2015, the Kulm has been accessible again.

The parish church was probably rebuilt in the years 1760–1766 by Josef Hueber in the late Baroque style. It has a one-bay choir with a semicircle, a two-bay nave and a west tower. The late baroque interior dates from the second half of the 18th century. Johann Cyriak Hackhofer (1724) painted the altarpiece of the Assumption of Mary . Several excellent gravestones of the East Styrian noble families and the Herberstein epitaph on the southern front are remarkable .

The Roman burial mound dates from the middle of the 2nd to the 3rd century. Excavation and restoration took place in 2002.

A stone slab spans the rectangular burial chamber, in which a stone wall shelf was probably used to place grave goods. Two long walls form the entrance to the burial chamber; this entrance was originally covered with stone slabs. The grave inscription was found during the excavation in front of the entrance, a copy can be seen on site, and reports: “Gentilis, son of Finitus, and (his wife) Crispa, daughter of Attus, (have) for themselves and (their ) at the age of (...) years (deceased) daughter Censorina (the tomb erected) ”. Despite the use of the Latin language, it is a local family: the grandfather Attus still has a Celtic name.
