List of the largest cities in Oceania
The following list of the largest cities or agglomerations in the Oceania region contains all cities in Oceania (with Australia and New Zealand ) with more than 100,000 inhabitants as well as other cities with regional importance. Cities are defined as urban spaces. This means the city center, surrounding urban areas and possibly cities that have grown together. There is no uniform definition of what constitutes a city. A lack of comparability in the spatial delimitation as well as errors and inaccuracies in the updating and extrapolation of population figures can lead to deviations in the information for one and the same city.
All capitals are highlighted .
