List of the highest viewing platforms in Europe
The list of the highest observation decks in Europe contains the highest on a building (from the ground measured) located viewing platforms in Europe . It also includes bridges and dams , provided these structures are accessible to the public and, in the case of bridges, their maximum height is determined by the height of the bridge piers and not solely by the topography. The list does not include any cable cars, as their maximum height above the ground often depends on the topography (the highest cable car pillar in the world, the pillar of the 3rd section of the Kaprun III glacier lift is 113.6 meters lower than the height of the viewing platforms many television towers).
Note: The table columns can be sorted using the symbols in the column headings. In the initial view, the structures are sorted by platform height (descending), if the height is the same by total height (descending), then by name of the structure (ascending).
