Montfort	Montfort Castle (Alt-Montfort)	Count	As a sideline of the Count Palatine of Tübingen , they inherited the Counts of Bregenz after 1182 . from 1258 the Counts of Werdenberg split up . Montfort-Feldkirch also split off in 1258/1260 (until 1390). 1267/1270 continued to divide Montfort-Bregenz (until 1338, inherited from Montfort-Tettnang) and Montfort-Tettnang. From 1354 younger line Tettnang (until 1527) and younger line Bregenz (until 1787). Montfort's successors were: Habsburg: Feldkirch 1375/79; Bregenz 1451/1523 Königsegg: 1565 Rothenfels Austria: 1779/1780 Tettnang In 1787 the counts died out.
