Dukes of Teck Teck Castle from 1187 dukes Teck Castle first documented in 1152; Branch line of the Zähringer who called themselves dukes of Teck from 1187. Divided into the Oberndorf and Owen lines in the 13th century . 1303 Half of the Oberndorf estate is sold to the Habsburgs . 1317 Rosenfeld to Württemberg. In 1363 the Oberndorf line died out impoverished. In 1381/85 Württemberg acquires half of the Owener line. Half of them inherited from the Oberndorf line were sold to Habsburg.
