Hausen am Tann is located in the western foreland of the Swabian Alb and is crossed by the Schlicher . It is surrounded by the mountains Lochen , Rappenstein , Schafberg , Plettenberg and Wenzelstein .

Hofgut Oberhausen (former castle)

A legend reports: After Wilhelmine von Grävenitz's marriage of convenience in the remote Oberhausen Castle (today Oberhausen homestead), she returned to Württemberg. The mistress of the country father also wanted to exercise her influence in the Evangelical Church. However, she failed to do this with the deeply religious superintendent .
