Locomotive Records is a Spanish music label based in Villaviciosa de Odón , a municipality in the Madrid region . It specializes in heavy metal and hard rock in particular and was founded in 1996 by Goyo Esteban. It was originally operated under the name Locomotive Music and renamed in 2004. In 2002 a branch was founded in Cologne, followed by one in New York in 2008. Chris Boltendahl was responsible for the operation of the (now closed) location in Germany .

The release policy includes bands that have been directly signed such as B. Grave Digger or Prong , also re-releases such. As in 2005, originally published in 2001 Album Mandrake by Edguy .
