Lokve is a municipality in the Primorje-Gorski kotar County in Croatia .
The municipality has 1049 inhabitants. on 42 square kilometers. It is located on State Road 3, or European Road 65 , between Karlovac and Rijeka , east of Lake Lokvarsko jezero . The municipality is located in the Gorski kotar mountain range . Lokve Lake (Lokvarsko jezero) lies between Homer and Mrzla Vodica and is the largest in the Croatian mountainous region. It has a size of 2.1 kilometers and a depth of 40 meters. The Frog Museum is one of the most innovative museums in Gorski Kotar and has thousands of visitors, especially during spring frog migration.

- Mrzla Vodica, 16 residents
- Sleme, 104 inhabitants
- Sopač, 39 inhabitants
- Zelin Mrzlovodički, 16 residents
On the Rijeka-Zagreb motorway, just one kilometer from the center of Lokve, there is the “Golubinjak” forest park, which has been a nature reserve since 1954. One of the largest caves in Croatia that can be visited is the Lokvarka Cave.
