Punat

Punat [ punat ] is a municipality on the island of Krk in Croatia , which is located on the Bay of Punat, which is located between the south of the island and its central part. The year the church was founded is unknown; it was first mentioned in a document in 1377. The town's marina is one of the most famous in the northern Adriatic . The village of Stara Baška , located further south, also belongs to the municipality

At the junction to the northwestern village of Kornić is the Church of St. Donat , an important testimony to ancient Croatian architecture.
