Loredana Dinu (born April 2, 1984 in Craiova as Loredana Iordăchioiu ) is a former Romanian sword fencer .

Career

Loredana Dinu achieved all international successes in team competition. At European Championships she won the title with the team in 2006 in Izmir , 2008 in Kiev , 2011 in Sheffield and 2015 in Montreux , plus a further second and third place. In 2010 in Paris and 2011 in Catania she was world champion with the Romanian team . Dinu took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 2012 in London , she reached seventh place together with Ana Maria Brânză , Simona Gherman and Anca Măroiu . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , she and the team, which consisted of Simona Gherman, Ana Maria Popescu and Simona Pop in addition to Dinu , reached the final against China after victories against the United States and Russia , which won 44:38 has been.
