Louis Herbert Bullock Jr. (also Sweet Lou ; born May 20, 1976 in Washington ) is a retired American basketball player . Bullock has played in the Spanish ACB league since 2002 and won the Spanish championship twice with Real Madrid and the European club competition ULEB Cup in 2007 . At the end of the 2011/12 season he made a comeback at Asefa Estudiantes from Madrid and then ended his career.

Career

Louis Bullock began his career at the University of Michigan . He brought it in four seasons in the Big Ten Conference of the NCAA to numerous records, his 339 three-point hits and his free throw rate of 86.9% were not set until today. At the NBA Draft 1999 he was finally committed by the Minnesota Timberwolves (No. 42). Although he had a good name in the United States, he decided to move to Europe.

In the Lega Basket Serie A he first played two seasons for Muller Verona (1999-01) and then another for Adecco Milano , where he reached an average of 24.9 points and 2.7 assists per game.

In 2001 he moved to the Spanish ACB for CB Málaga , two years later for Real Madrid . With the latter he won the Spanish championship in 2004/05 and was also elected MVP of the final series. In the 2006/2007 season he won again the title in the ACB league and the ULEB Cup . Due to a lack of success in the 2009/2010 season, his contract was not extended by the club in the summer of 2010. This ended his stay at Real Madrid after six years. He then signed a contract with Cajasol that ran until 2011 . In April 2012, he was supposed to help the traditional club CB Estudiantes, Madrid's local rival Real Madrid, which has been in high class since 1956 and is threatened with relegation. After injury problems, the contract was initially not concluded; after Bullock had recovered, the club decided to sign three game days before the end of the season. However, it was no longer enough for sporting relegation, which Estudiantes only achieved through the withdrawal of other teams, and Bullock then ended his active career.
