history

The hut was built in 1930 under the name Lehnerjochhütte and sold to the Zwickau section of the DuOeAV in 1932 . After the end of World War II , the hut became the property of Austria and from then on was administered by the Innsbruck section of the Austrian Alpine Club . In 1955 the hut became the property of the DAV main association and the Ludwigsburg section took over the administration.

After the Ludwigsburg section built a new material ropeway in 1970 and expanded the bedrooms, sanitary rooms and the kitchen, it was able to acquire the hut in 1972.

A new winter room was built in 1998, as was an extension of the sanitary facilities.
