The Breslauer Hütte is a refuge in the Ötztal Alps . It is owned by the Breslau section (based in Stuttgart ) of the German Alpine Club . There is a sponsorship relationship with the hutless section Tuttlingen of the German Alpine Club .
location
The Breslauer Hütte is located at 2844 m above sea level. A. west of Vent at the foot of the Wildspitze in the Ötztal Alps. It is the starting point for ascents of the Wildspitze, the Hinteren Brochkogel , the Ötztaler Urkund and the Wilden Mannle .
history
The Breslauer Hütte was inaugurated on August 20, 1882 as an unmanaged accommodation hut with 15 overnight stays. In 1896 a two-story transept was added, followed by a four-story bed building in 1913. Extensions and extensive renovations followed in 1928 and 1971. In 1997, a winter house was built for ski tourers , and in the following year the main house received a new attic and the dining room a tiled stove.
