The Bockerhütte is a summer shelter in the Texel Group at 1700  m slm in the Spronser Tal above Tirolo . The hut is owned by the Spronseralm interest group and was built in the 1950s on the site of a primitive shelter. The hut is named after the opposite Bockberg, on the slopes of which billy goats graze. The entire area is part of the Texel Group Nature Park .

Approach

There are two access options from Dorf Tirol:

  • Path 6 through the Spronser Tal (3.5 h)
  • Path 22 from the Hochmuth mountain station of the Hochmuther cable car (2.5 hours)
