Parish before the merger on January 1, 2017

Münster-Geschinen was a municipality in the Goms district in the German-speaking part of the Swiss canton of Valais until December 31, 2016 . The municipality was created in 2004 from the merger of the two municipalities of Münster and Geschinen . On January 1, 2017, it merged with the communities of Blitzingen , Grafschaft , Niederwald and Reckingen-Gluringen to form the new community of Goms .
